The T. A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, has launched a new MBA (Master in Business Administration) programme in Technology Management. Scheduled to commence from the upcoming 2024 academic year, the new MBA programme is aimed at enhancing the application of technology by MBA graduates in order to optimise technological efficiency. Through the programme, the premier business school also aims at future business leaders who will transform and change the global  technology landscape.

TAPMI’s new MBA in Technology Management programme is a two-year six trimester programme that will be offered from the institute’s Bangalore campus. The programme is designed for candidates with 2 to 7 years of technology experience with leading IT services, product and platform companies. 

The TAPMI’s MBA in Technology Management Programme is also unique in both, in terms of design, as well as delivery. 30% of all Technology Management and sectoral ( Industry vertical) courses will be taught by seasoned industry practitioners with emphasis on applied learning using industry leading software tools and technology labs. The students will have an opportunity to pursue multiple internships and live projects in leading tech-companies and will benefit from a structured industry mentor program.

Speaking about the new programme, Dr Aditya Jadhav, Dean of TAPMI Bengaluru said, “TAPMI has curated a specialized MBA programme in Technology Management that combines 3 unique pillars in curriculum:- Business management courses, Technology Management courses and Sectoral specialization tracks in FinTech, E- Commerce& Retail  and Healthcare”
