'Smart Resumes' are an easy and efficient way for job seekers and recruiters to meet, it uses AI and data analytics.

New Delhi: The pandemic has brought sweeping changes to the job market across the world. And while job seekers may find it more challenging, there are certain tools that can make finding a job easier. One of the most important steps is upgrading your bio-data and ‘Smart Resumes’ have become the latest trend for job seekers. Smart resumes use data analytics and AI to create customized CVs best suited for the job they are looking for.

According to Sachin K Sharma, CEO, Resume Mentor Global it has become necessary for job seekers to reinvent themselves.

“It has become very important for job seekers to reinvent themselves because recruiters use new-age solutions, software, platforms to hire talent whereas job seekers still follow conventional models of job search like traditional resumes.”

Resume Mentor Global provides resume writing services that created using Artificial Intelligence, Assessments & Data analytics. These resumes are also enabled with QR codes and embedded video resume and can be used for any profession.

“Smart Resumes are generation next resumes that are measurable, easy to comprehend trends, delivers job seeker ROI & value to the recruiter at a glance, and terminate the conventional template-based resume approach adopted by the conventional companies & job seekers globally. These resumes also have a smart layout, loaded with sales pitches, branding statements, unique interview-winning sections & industry endorsements,” says Sharma.

Due to the different features in smart resumes, Sharma says that it provides better results to job seekers especially in such tough times by making it easier for recruiters to check the suitability at one glace.

“Traditional resumes are text-based, lengthy and time consuming for recruiters, hence they don’t prefer them. It also cannot be validated. Recruiters today look for candidates who bring a lot of value to the table & smart resumes do a very good job in reflecting overall value,” says Sharma.

But can involving AI open the job seeking process to biases like preference for top academic institutions which may be out of reach for some of the aspirants?

“Smart Resume makes job search easy for people with skills & experience. It has nothing to do with top schools and college names,” says Sharma.
