In view of this, authorities have decided to extend holidays for schools up to Class 8. The schools will now remain closed until February 20.

District Basic Education Officer (BSA) Praveen Kumar Tiwari stated that while students will be on leave, teachers and staff will continue to attend school to carry out essential administrative tasks such as DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), Aadhaar seeding, and UDI generation.

"As per the instructions of District Magistrate, Prayagraj, classes of all schools from class 1 to 8 will be conducted online from 17 to 20 February 2025. All teachers will be present in the school and complete the departmental work. Ensure strict compliance of all relevant public orders," Praveen Kumar Tiwari said in an X post.

Tiwari further informed that the decision was taken under the directives of District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar. To ensure uninterrupted learning, schools have been instructed to conduct online classes. The order applies to both government and private schools in urban and rural areas, and strict compliance has been mandated.
