SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021: The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the registration deadline to apply for the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021 till June 20, 2021. Earlier, the last date to apply for the SBI Clerk recruitnment was May 17, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the position online at sbi.co.in. 

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 5237 vacancies. The bank will tentatively conduct the SBI Clerk preliminary examination in June 2021 and Main Examination will be tentatively held on July 31, 2021. The pre-examination training call letter is scheduled to be released on May 26, 2021. 

For EWS candidates, the bank has released the guidelines for the production of income and asset certificates. "The EWS candidates are required to produce for verification, the ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ for the relevant financial year as per the extant DoPT guidelines, on the date of document verification, which shall be intimated to the provisionally selected candidates by the Bank. Hence, the ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ for the relevant financial year can be obtained by the candidate on or before the date of document verification. No request for extension of time for production of ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ beyond the said date shall be entertained and if a candidate fails to produce the ‘Income & Assets Certificate’ on the date of document verification, he / she will not be considered for appointment in the Bank for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & sales)," reads the official notification. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for the positions should possess a graduation degree in any discipline or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

Applicants having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before August 16, 2021. 

Registration Fee:

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750. While the SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS/DXS candidates are exempted from the payment of the registration fee.
