UPSC Prelims Result 2021: Civil Services Preliminary Exam Result To Be Declared Soon

Candidates will be marked on all the three stages of the civil services exam- prelims, mains, and personality tests. The final result will be declared after the completion of all stages.

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely to declare the results of the prelims civil services exam soon. The UPSC prelim exam was held on October 10 across various centers and the result is to be declared on October 29. The candidates who appeared for the civil services exam can check their results on the official website upsc.gov.in

The candidates need to keep checking the UPSC’s official website. The result of the prelims will decide if the candidate is eligible for the UPSC Main exam 2021. The candidates who clear the prelims will be eligible for the UPSC Main exam to be held from January 7, 2022, onwards.

Candidates will be marked on all the three stages of the civil services exam- prelims, mains, and personality tests. The final result will be declared after the completion of all stages. And the cut-off will be declared after the final result.

Here’s How You Can Download The Result

  • Go to the UPSC’s official website- upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘What’s New’ section to find the result PDF.
  • If the candidate finds their name in the PDF, the admit card can be downloaded for further process

The admit card for the UPSC Mains exam 2021 will be released in the last week of December 2021. The UPSC prelims will include the names of the shortlisted candidates only, and the marks of the candidates will be released after the final results. 

As many as 712 vacancies are to be filled via this exam for which around 10 lakh candidates have applied this year.
