SSC CGL Result 2024: Where & How To Check Tier 1 Result 2024?

SSC CGL Result 2024: The Tier 1 exam was held from September 9 to 26 and the results are expected soon.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the SSC CGL Tier 1 results soon for the exam conducted in September 2024. Candidates can check their results on the official website, ssc.gov.in, using their roll number, date of birth, and password once the results are announced. The Tier 1 exam was held from September 9 to 26, and provisional answer keys were released on October 4, with objections accepted until October 8. While the Commission has not yet confirmed a result date, candidates must meet the minimum cut-off marks to qualify: 30% for the open category, 25% for OBC and EWS, and 20% for all other categories.

How To Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024?

Follow these steps to check SSC CGL Result 2024: 

Step 1: Visit the official website: ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link for CGL Tier 1 Result 2024 under the “Latest News” or “Results” section.

Step 3: A PDF file containing the list of qualified candidates will open.

Step 4: Use the search feature (Ctrl+F) to find your roll number or name in the list.

Step 5: Download the PDF for future reference.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam comprises multiple-choice questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section has 25 questions, with each correct answer earning 2 marks, for a total of 200 marks. Candidates who qualify for Tier 1 will be eligible to appear for the Tier 2 examination.

In other news, the Commission has announced the exam dates for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025. The examination is scheduled to take place on February 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, and 25, 2025.
