MSBSHSE Maharashtra SSC Result 2023 Live Updates: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has declared the Maharashtra SSC Result 2023 or Maharashtra 10th Result 2023 today, June 2. Students can access their result from 1:00 pm. Students who have appeared for the 10th board examination can access their results on the official website of Maharashtra results at mahresult.nic.in. Students can also check their results on news.abplive.com.
The Class 10 board examination in Maharashtra took place from March 2 to March 25, 2023, at different exam centers across the state. A significant number of candidates, around 14 lakh, appeared for the examination this year.
To access their SSC (Secondary School Certificate) results, students will need to provide their board exam seat number and the mother's first name as mentioned on their admit cards or application forms. These details will be required during the result-checking process.
In order to pass the SSC (Class 10) board exam in Maharashtra, students will need to obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks. Students who fail to secure the required minimum marks will have the opportunity to appear for the supplementary examination. The supplementary exams are conducted for students who did not pass in one or more subjects in the regular board exams, providing them with a chance to improve their scores and pass the examination.
Last year, the Maharashtra SSC results were announced on July 17, 2022. The overall pass percentage for that year was 96.94 percent. A total of 1,521,003 students successfully passed the examination.
Following the announcement of the SSC results in Maharashtra, the process of admissions to first-year junior colleges (FYJC) will commence. While FYJC aspirants from various boards have already begun registering for admissions, SSC students will now be able to fill out part of the two-part admission forms. In this part, they can indicate their college preferences for consideration during the admission process. This step is an important part of the overall FYJC admission procedure in Maharashtra.
