ICSE Class 10th, ISC Class 12th Result 2024 Released; Girls Outshine Boys With Higher Passing Percentage

The board conducted the ICSE class 10th examinations from February 21 to March 28, 2024, while class 12th examinations were conducted from February 12 to April 2, 2024. 

ICSE Class 10th, ISC Class 12th Result 2024: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, CISCE has released the 10th, 12th results today, May 6, 2024. The board conducted the ICSE class 10th examinations from February 21 to March 28, 2024, while class 12th examinations were conducted from February 12 to April 2, 2024. The overall pass percentage for ISC class 12th 2024 examinations is 98.19%, while pass percentage for ICSE class 10th stood at 99.47%. This year, the council did not announce the names of ICSE, ISC toppers as a measure of avoiding 'unhealthy competition' among students.

  • Total Number of students: 2,43,617
  • Passed Students: 2,42,328
  • Female Students who have passed: 1,12,716
  • Male Students who have passed: 1,29,612

ISC Class 12th 2024

  • Total Number of students: 99,901
  • Passed Students: 98,088
  • Female Students who have passed: 46,626 
  • Male Students who have passed: 51,462

Girls have outshined boys in ISC 12th and ICSE 10th examinations 2024. 

  • Pass Percentage of girls in class 10th: 99.65%
  • Pass Percentage of girls in class 12th: 98.92%
  • Pass Percentage of boys in class 10th: 99.31%
  • Pass Percentage of boys in class 12th: 97.53%

ICSE Class 10th, ISC Class 12th Result 2024: Compartment Exams

CISCE Chief Executive Joseph Emmanuel said that the Board has decided to discontinue ISC and ICSE compartment examinations from 2024 onwards. However, if students are unsatisfied with their scores, they can apply for the ICSE Class 10th, ISC Class 12th revaluation and re-checking process.

Students who are unsatisfied with their scores can opt for rechecking or revaluation of their answer sheets. The rechecking window has opened on the board’s official website. Students must remember that the revaluation process includes recounting marks once again, which ensures that the marks are awarded correctly on the marksheet. Whereas the rechecking process includes the checking of answer scripts again, and a scanned copy of the evaluated answer script will be provided to the student.
