CBSE 12th Result 2023: Results Declared!

CBSE 12th Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results for the class 12th board examinations on its official website on Friday, May 12. Students who have been eagerly awaiting their results can now access and download their CBSE 12th results for the year 2023 on official websites cbseresult.nic.in and results.cbse.in

The overall pass percentage for students who appeared in CBSE Class XIIth Board exams in 2023 stands at 87.33%. This is 5.38% lower than the overall pass percentage of last year.

Girls have outshined the boys in class 12th CBSE Board Exams 2023. 90.68% of the total girls who appeared for exams have passed while only 84.67% of the boys who appeared for CBSE Class 12th Board Exams were able to clear it in 2023. Girls have done better than boys by 6.01%.

Officials said the board has decided to do away with the practice of awarding first, second and third divisions to students based on their scores.

“No merit list will be declared by CBSE to avoid unhealthy competition among students. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects,” a senior board official said.
