CBSE 10th Result 2023: Kerala Shines Among States, Trivandrum Best Performing Region

In the CBSE 10th Board Results 2023 declared today, Kerala and Trivandrum have emerged as the best performing state and region respectively with a pass percentage of 99.91%.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE 10th Board Result 2023. Candidates who appeared for the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2023 and were awaiting their results can now check and download their board results on the official website - cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in. Candidates can check and download their Board results using their Registration Number/Roll Number.

In the CBSE 10th Results 2023, the overall passing percentage among candidates who appeared for the exams is 93.12%. The passing percentage among boys is 92.27% while that for girls is 94.25%. Among the 21,65,805 students who appeared for the CBSE 10th Exams 2023, a total of 20,16,779 students have passed the exams. Notably, the overall passing percentage this year is better than 91.10% in 2019, in the pre-Covid period. Moreover, while around 2 lakh students have scored above 90%, around 44,000 students have scored above 95% in the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2023. 

Importantly, to prevent unhealthy competition among candidates, the board has not released the list of CBSE 10th Board Toppers List 2023. However, the region-wise performance and pass percentage data has been released. Among all states, Kerala sits at the top with a 99.91% pass percentage. A total of 62,978 students have passed the CBSE 10th Exams from Kerala. The pass percentage for boys in Kerala is 99.86%, while that of boys is 99.96%.

In terms of region, Trivandrum once again secures the highest passing percentage. The passing percentage for Trivandrum is 99.91%. Trivandrum is followed by Bengaluru and Chennai with a pass percentage of 99.18 and 99.14%, respectively. Notably, the exact three regions: Trivandrum, Bengaluru, and Chennai, also secured the top three ranks in the CBSE Class 12 Result Pass Percentage 2023. The CBSE 12th Results 2023 were declared earlier today, and students who appeared for the CBSE 12th Board Exams 2023 can also check their results online on cbse.nic.in.
