CBSE 10th Result 2023 Announced: 93.12% Students Pass 10th Board Exams, Girls Outshine Boys

CBSE 10th Result 2023 has been declared on cbse.nic.in. 93.12% students who appeared for the exams have cleared their board exams 2023.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE 10th Board Results 2023. Candidates who appeared for the CBSE 10th Board exams 2023 can check and download their board results from the official website - cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. In the CBSE 10th Board Results 2023, 93.12% students who appeared have passed their board exams. While the pass percentage among girls is 94.25 percent, boys recorded a passing percentage of 92.27%. The pass percentage of girls in the CBSE 10th Board Results 2023 is 1.98 percent higher than that of boys.

Surprisingly, the pass percentage has seen a dip this year, compared to last year. The passing percentages for girls and boys in the CBSE Board Results 2022 were 95.21, and 93.80%, respectively. However, the passing percentage this year has seen an improvement compared to 91.10% in 2019 in the pre-COVID period. Out of the total  21,65,805 students who appeared for the CBSE 10th Exams 2023, a total of 20,16,779 students have passed the exams. Furthermore, around 2 lakh students have scored over 90%, while around 44,000 students have secured over 95% aggregate marks. 

In terms of passing perecentage and performance as per regions and states, Kerala and Trivandrum have topped the charts in the cbse 10th Board Results as well. Kerala outshined all other states with a passing percentage of 99.91%. A total of 62,978 students have passed the CBSE 10th Exams from Kerala. The pass percentage for boys in Kerala is 99.86%, while that of boys is 99.96%. In terms of region-wise pass percentage, Trivandrum aces the list once again with 99.91%, followed by Bengaluru and Chennai with 99.18 and 99.14%, respectively.

Trivandrum, Bengaluru, and Chennai are also the top three performing regions in the CBSE 12th Board Results 2023 announced earier in the forenoon today. Notably, the CBSE has not released the 10th, 12th toppers merit list in a bid to discourage unhealthy competition among students. However, the board has published the list of top-performing regions.
