Punjab (PSEB), Mizoram (MBSE) Kick Off Class-12 And Class-10 Exams Today
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) and Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) board exams for Class 12 and Class 10 are beginning on February 19.

The Class 12 board exams 2025 for the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) are beginning on Wednesday, February 19. The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) is also holding its High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class-10 exams on February 19.
PSEB students will be appearing for the home science paper, whereas the MBSE candidates will be taking the language exams, which include Mizo, Hindi, Nepali, Bengali, alternative English, and Manipuri.
PSEB, MSEB Exam Timings
According to the PSEB date sheet for the 2025 exams, the Class-12 exams will be conducted from 11 AM to 2:15 PM. Meanwhile, the Mizoram Board Class-10 exams will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM.
PSEB Class-12 Exam Guidelines
Students will get 15 minutes extra to fill out the required details on the answer sheet or OMR sheet, as per Careers 360.
Candidates with disabilities, including those with hearing impairment, intellectual disabilities, visual impairment, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, chronic neurological conditions, specific learning disabilities, multiple disabilities, Parkinson’s disease, and mental illness, will receive extra time. These students will be allotted an additional 20 minutes. Such candidates may also also avail the facility of a writer (scribe).
Subjects under the general stream, such as drawing and painting, commercial art, modelling, and sculpture, will not have written exams. Additionally, students are allowed to use coloured pencils for diagrams in subjects like economics and science.
MBSE HSLC Exam 2025
Candidates appearing for the MBSE Class-10 exams will have a total of three hours to complete the exams. The total marks for the paper will be 80.
To qualify, the students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in both theory and practical exams separately. Additionally, candidates need to achieve at least 33% overall and attain at least a Grade D in the internal assessment to pass the examination.
