As there are just few weeks to go, here are some tips to keep in mind while appearing for the exam
- Look up the exam pattern and cover the syllabus thoroughly. Understand how the exam works before hands and read the instructions give on the paper. Do not forget to see if you have covered all the important topics.
- Read the questions carefully, don’t rush and begin writing the answers, chances are you’ll misread or leave out something because of it. So take your time to read the questions carefully.
- Attempt the questions you find easier first. If you get stuck with an answer don’t spend too much time on the question, leave it to attempt at the end
- Being over-confident may also make you miss your parts of your questions, the same goes if you're too anxious. Try to remain calm and focus solely on the task at hand. Remember to verify your answers and go through the paper when you have finished the paper.
- Manage your time properly, segregate each part, and assign sufficient time to each chunk. Divide and conquer! NEET includes 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in total which are segregated into three parts as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Biology section consists of 90 questions in total, Chemistry and Physics consist of 45 questions each respectively. Total marks are 720 which is divided into three parts 360 in Biology, 180 in Chemistry, and 180 in Physics. 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for wrong answers.
