NEET 2020 Re-Exam: NTA To Hold Phase 2 NEET Exam Today, Results To Be Out On October 16
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to hold NEET re-exam for those candidates who were unable to sit for NEET either because they were covid positive or because their area was a containment zone.
NEET 2020 Results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to hold NEET re-exam for those candidates who were unable to sit for NEET either because they were covid positive or because their area was a containment zone. The special exams are being held after an order from the Supreme Court on Monday. The court had also said that the much-awaited results which were expected to be released on Monday will be declared on October 16.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) said in a statement, “As per the revised SOP by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare…candidates who were COVID-19 positive or in containment zones had to appear the aforesaid exam on a later date, in view of the safety of the other candidates and exam personnel,” NTA said in a statement. The special exams are scheduled to be held from 2 to 5 pm. The NTA is yet to release safety guidelines for the exams.
According to media reports, the admit cards have been made available on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Although specific safety guidelines for the exam have not been given candidates can expect stringent Covid-19 precautions such as checking body temperature using a thermal gun, mandatory face mask and personal small hand sanitizer (50 ml). The exams will be held from from 2 to 5 pm
Here's how to check the NEET 2020 Result:
Step 1: Go to the NTA NEET's official website: ntaneet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the activated link for 'NEET (UG) - 2020 Result' on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill in your NEET application number, date of birth and click on submit.
Step 4: Your result will appear on your screen.
Step 5: Download the soft copy and take a print out for future reference.
