Maharashtra Board Results 2020: HSC Results Expected By July 15; SSC Results Date Awaited

Going by the previous media reports, the Board is expected to release the results of class-12 students by next week on, July 15 while dates for the release of class-10 exams remain tentative till date.

Mumbai: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has not yet announced the final dates for releasing the results of Class-10 and Class-12 board examination. ALSO READ | ICSE Board Class 10 And 12 Results Declared: Check Overall Pass Percentages Going by the previous media reports, the Board is expected to release the results of class-12 students by next week on, July 15 while dates for the release of class-10 exams remain tentative till date. It is to be noted that Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education chairperson Shakuntala Kale was in a virtual meeting with the Education Department on June 23, when he had said that Class 12 exam results may be announced by July 15 while Class 10 results will be announced by the end of July. Results Delayed Due To Coronavirus Lockdown The results of class-10 and class-12 students were delayed due to the COVID-19 induced nationwide lockdown which hampered the evaluation process by the board. However, students can breathe a sigh of relief as the evaluation process is almost complete and that the results will be out soon. After the exam results are announced the Education Department of Maharashtra will also update about the Class - 11 admission process. ALSO READ | Student Safety Main Priority, But Final Year University Exams Also Important, Says UGC Secy Look Back At Maharashtra Board Results 2019: In 2020, more than 13 lakh students appeared for HSC Exam and 17 lakh students appeared for SSC exam. The results for both Class 10 and class-12 is expected to to be released soon. Meanwhile, here's a look back at previous year results: In 2019, the results for Class -10 and class-12 were released on June 8 where the overall pass percentage stood at 77.10 per cent for SSC and 85.88 percent for HSC. In HSC, Girls out shined boys as the pass percentage for girls was  90.25% while for boys it was 82.40%. Meanwhile, students are advised to keep checking the official website of the board-  www.mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in, for any further updates on the result.
