West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Applications Begin On prb.wb.gov.in, Vacancies Increased - Details Here

The WBPRB is conducting the West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024 to fill a total of 11,749 vacancies for the post of constables in West Bengal Police.

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has started the application process for the West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive can apply for the recruitment drive on the official website - prb.wb.gov.in. Candidates may note that the last date to apply for the recruitment is April 5, 2024. Before applying for the recruitment drive though, candidates are advised to check and run through all essential details pertaining to the recruitment that is made available by the WBPRB on its official website. 

WBPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Vacancies

Candidates may further note that while applying for the WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024, the WBPRB has increased the number of vacancies on offer under the recruitment. As per the previous notification, the WBPRB intended to fill a total of 10,255 vacancies under this recruitment drive. However, in its latest notification on the official website, the WBPRB has revised and increased the number of vacancies to 11,749. Among the total vacancies on offer, 8,212 vacancies are for male candidates and 3,537 vacancies are for females. 

WBPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

In terms of eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed their Madhyamik (Class 10) Exam from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent, can apply for the WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024. Moreover, candidates should also speak, read and write the Bengali language, besides being aged between 18 to 30 years.

WBPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Furthermore, the shortlisting of candidates under the West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024 shall be done based on a multi-stage selection process. To make it to the final list of shortlisted candidates, applicants will be required to undergo Written examination followed by a Physical Measurement test, a Physical Efficiency test, and an Interview. Step 3: Now, register with the required details

Step 4: Then, fill out the WB Police application form

Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents.

Step 6: Now, pay the application fee and click on ‘Submit’

Step 7: Finally, download the WB Police recruitment application form for your reference.
