The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will close the online application process for the UP Police SI (Sub-Inspector) and ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) Recruitment 2024. Interested candidates who are yet to apply for the recruitment are advised to submit their applications for the recruitment at the earliest on the official website - uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates may note that the application fee for the UP Police SI, ASI Recruitment 2024 is Rs 400.
The UPPRPB aims to fill a total of 921 vacancies for the posts of SI and ASI in the Uttar Pradesh Police. Among the total vacancies on offer through the recruitment, a total of 268 vacancies are for the post of sub-Inspector (Confidential), while 449 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk). Another 204 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Accounts).
The shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done through a multi-stage selection process. In the first stage of the recruitment, candidates will be required to appear for a written examination. The written examination shall contain 200 questions for a total of 400 marks and candidates would be given a maximum time limit of 2.5 hours to complete the exam. Following the conduct of the written examination, successful candidates shall be accordingly called for Document Verification and Physical Tests.
