SSC GD Constable 2021 Notification: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon release the official notification for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021 on its official website. The recruitment process will be conducted to fill the vacancies in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) Secretariat Security Force (SSF).

Once the notification is out, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021 online at ssc.nic.in. The selection process for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021 will be based on the candidate's performance in the Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Details Medical Test (DME).

Candidates applying for the positions should be between 18 to 23 years old. Only the date of birth recorded in the matriculation/secondary examination certificate or an equivalent certificate available on the date of submission of application will be accepted as proof of date of birth. Reserve category candidates will be given age relaxation as per the rules and norms set by the Government of India.

Candidate must have passed Matriculation or 10th class examination from a recognized Board. Candidates can get more information related to educational qualifications after the SSC GD Constable Notification is released. 

According to the media reports, the notification for SSC GD constable recruitment is likely to be issued between July 10 and 15, 2021. It is worth noting that earlier the notification was to be issued in March. But it was postponed and then the date of April was scheduled for the release of the notification. However, this was also further postponed in view of the fatal consequences of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The Commission issued a notice on 7 May saying that the notification has been postponed till further orders.
