SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2021 Registration Begins, Know How To Apply

SSC has started the recruitment process for the selection of Constable (General Duty or GD). The application process has started from 17th July 2021 and the last date to apply is 31st August 2021.

SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2021: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the recruitment process for the selection of Constable (General Duty or GD). A total of 25,271 vacancies are up for recruitment for posts in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). Recruitment will also be done for the post of Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles. Online application has started from Saturday 17th July. The last date for submission of the online application is 31 August 2021 and the last date for online payment of the application fee is 2 September (up to 11:30 PM).

The examination for selection to these posts will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), detailed Medical Test, and documents verification.

Through this recruitment drive, recruitment will be conducted for 7545 posts of BSF, 8464 of CISG, 3806 of SSB, 1431 of ITBP, 3785 of Assam Rifles, and 240 posts of SSF. There are 22,424 posts for men and 2,847 posts for women.

Age Limit/Eligibility: The age limit for Constable (General Duty or GD) has been fixed between 18 to 23 years as on 1st August 2021.

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission https://ssc.nic.in.

On the home page, candidates can see the link and notification of the application form of GD recruitment.

Step2: Complete your application form by attaching the required documents

Step3: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

 Application fee :
Applicants belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Apart from this, the application fee is exempted for other categories and women.
