RSMSSB Grade 2 Vacancy Registration Window Closes Today; 4,197 Posts To Be Filled

RSMSSB Grade 2 Vacancy registration window will be closed today.

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) will close the registration window for the recruitment of Junior Assistant and Clerk. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the Board’s official website – recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in. This year, a total of 4197 posts will be filled by the Junior Assistant/Clerk exam 2024 out of which 584 posts are for Clerk Grade 1, 61 posts for Clerk Grade 2 and 3552 posts are for Junior Assistant. The exam date has not been announced yet and candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications required for candidates applying for RSMSSB Grade 2 positions are as follows:

Completion of Senior Secondary from a recognized Board or its equivalent examination.

Or

Possession of an O or Higher Level Certificate course conducted by DOEACC.
 
Or

Certification in computer concept or COPA/Data Preparation and computer software (DPCS) certificate.

Or

Holding a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in computer science or computer application.

Or

Possession of Senior Secondary Certificate with computer science or computer.

Or

Completion of a Diploma in computer science and engineering from a polytechnic institution.

Age Limit

Candidates interested in applying should fall within the age bracket of 18 years to 40 years as of January 1, 2025. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive relaxations in the upper age limit as per the government norms.

RSMSSB Grade 2 Selection Process

The selection process for RSMSSB Grade 2 in 2024 will be based on the candidates' performance in various stages:

1. Written Examination: Candidates will initially be assessed based on their performance in a written examination. The written exam is divided into two main phases. In Phase 1, there will be two question papers. The first paper will evaluate subjects including General Knowledge, Daily Science, and Mathematics, while the second paper will involve a language paper covering General Hindi and English.

2. Computer Typing Tests: Candidates who qualify the written examination will then undergo computer typing tests to assess their typing speed and accuracy.

3. Proficiency Test: After the typing tests, candidates may also be required to undergo a proficiency test to evaluate their skills and competency in relevant areas.

RSMSSB Grade 2 Application Fees

For the RSMSSB Grade 2 application process in 2024, the application fees differ based on the candidate's category:

1. General Category Candidates: Rs 600
2. EWS, SC, ST, and PwD Category Candidates: Rs 400
