IGNOU JAT 2023: Written Exam For Second Stage On January 31 - See Details

The admit cards for the IGNOU JAT Second Stage Exam will be released three days before the exam date.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the second stage written examination for the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) Exam on January 31, 2024. Notably, the NTA will conduct the examination to select a total of 199 suitable candidates for the post of  Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) in the IGNOU. Earlier last year, the written test and skill test for the recruitment was held on July 31, and September 19, 2023.

Notably, the NTA announced the dates for the IGNOU JAT Second Stage Exam 2023 through an official notice on its website. “As decided by competent authority, second stage written examination for the post of Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Recruitment Examination – 2023 shall be conducted for 199 finally qualified candidates with the support of the University (IGNOU) in pen and Paper (PNP) mode by National Testing Agency,” reads the official notice.

Candidates may further note that the IGNOU JAT Second Stage written exam shall be conducted in Delhi only. As per the official announcement, the admit cards for the exam shall be released three days before the date of the examination. Announcing the dates for the IGNOU JAT Second-Stage Exam 2023, the NTA also stated that the list of exam centres shall be displayed on the official website in due course of time. 

“The examination will be held on 31st January 2024 and the centre will be in Delhi only. Admit Card informing the date of examination, Time/Shift, Exam Centre, Instructions, etc. for the Exam will be issued 3 days prior to date of the examination. The Candidates may please note that the information about the Centre of Test for the IGNOU Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) Exam 2023 will be displayed on the website (s) https://recruitment.nta.nic.in/ in due course. Candidates will also be informed through emails,” the notice adds further.
