The Indian Air Force (IAF) is accepting applications for unmarried Indian male and female candidates interested in joining as musicians under the 01/2025 intake scheme. The application process began on May 22, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online till June 5 (11 pm). Candidates need to fill the application form on the official website at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The selected candidate for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 30000. Indian Airforce Agniveer Musician Eligibility

Eligible Candidates: Male/Female (All India)

Educational Qualification: Class 10th High School Exam from any recognized board in India.

Music Ability: 

Proficiency in playing any one of these instruments is required:

List A

• Concert Flute/Piccolo
• Oboe.
• Clarinet in Eb/Bb.
• Saxophone in Eb/Bb.
• French Horn in F/Bb
• Trumpet in Eb/C/ Bb
• Trombone in Bb/G
• Baritone
• Euphonium
• Bass/Tuba in Eb/Bb

List B

• Keyboard/Organ/Piano
• Guitar (Acoustic/Lead/Bass)
• Violin, Viola, String Bass
• Percussion/Drums (Acoustic/Electronic)
• All Indian Classical Instruments

Height Requirements:

Male: 162 cm

Female: 152 cm

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Running:

Male: 1.6 km in 7 minutes

Female: 1.6 km in 8 minutes

Salary And Allowances

Agniveervayu enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF) and dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation, and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules.

On being enrolled, apart from training of playing various musical instruments, Agniveervayu will be imparted military training based on Indian Air Force requirements.
