Jharkhand NMMS 2023: Scholarship Registrations Begin On jac-nmms.com, Apply By November 17
The Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship is aimed at providing a financial assistance of Rs 12,000 per annum to shortlisted students, from Class 9 till their Class 12.
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has started inviting applications from eligible students for the Jharkhand NMMS ( National Means cum Merit Scholarship) 2023. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the scholarship can apply for the JAC NMMS 2023 can apply for the same on the official website - jac-nmms.com. The last date to apply for the Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship 2023-24 is November 17, 2023. There is no application fee for applying for the scholarship. As per the official schedule, the Jharkhand Academic Council will conduct the JAC NMMS Examination 2023 to shortlist students for the scholarship on December 17, 2023.

Similar to NMMS Scholarships offered by several other states, the Jharkhand NMMS Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students of Class 9. The scholarship aims to provide a financial of Rs 12,000 per annum to shortlisted students. The scholarship will be provided to shortlisted students till Class 12.
Applicants must score a minimum aggregate of 55% marks to receive the scholarship in Class 9. However, students will be required to pass Class 9 to be entitled for the scholarship in Class 10, and similarly, pass Class 10 with at least 60% to receive the scholarship in Class 11, and so on for Class 12 as well.
Those studying in Class 8 are eligible to apply for the scholarship. However, those students who are studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools and private schools are not eligible to apply for the scholarship. Candidates who have scored a minimum of 55% in Class 7 are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
