NEET 2020, JEE Mains Exam Date Announced: The Ministry of Human Resource and Development announced the new exam dates for JEE and NEET competitive dates today.

JEE, NEET Exam Date 2020: The Ministry of Human Resource and Development announced the new exam dates for JEE and NEET competitive exams today. The JEE-Mains are to be held from July 18-23, while JEE-Advanced will take place in August. The NEET exam is scheduled for July 26. The exam was postponed due to a nationwide lockdown. Joint Entrance Exam-Mains (JEE-MAINS) is conducted for admission to engineering colleges across the country, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted for medical colleges. Around 15 lakh students across the country are expected to appear for the NEET this year, which is the gateway to medical colleges in India, whereas more than 9 lakh are expected to appear for JEE Mains, the entrance exam for all other engineering colleges except IITs. Due to the nationwide lockdown, school and colleges have remained closed since March 16th, the lockdown was meant to be lifted on May 3rd but has been extended till May 17th disrupting academic sessions. While schools and colleges are giving classes online, exams and entrances had to be postponed as well, which has postponed the new academic session, especially for the universities. He told them the importance of conversing with family members and maintaining a diary during these tough times, he advises the students to keep studying and even though the disturbance had to be extended they should be hopeful for a brighter future.
