Indore Authorities Refute Rumours Of Class 10 Hindi Paper Leak In MP Board Exams 2024
The Indore district education officer (DEO) has said that the Class 10 Hindi question paper being leaked on social media is fake.
The district administration of Madhya Pradesh’ Indore has debunked allegations of question paper leak of the Hindi Paper, in the Madhya Pradesh 10th Board Exams 2024, hours before the commencement of the exam. The administration has also warned of legal action against people spreading fake news about the exam paper leak. Indore district education officer (DEO) Manglesh Kumar Vyas while speaking to reporters said that on probe by the administration into the matter, it was discovered that the reports about the Class 10 Hindi paper being leaked on social media were fake.
"When we compared the question paper that surfaced on social media with the actual one, the codes and questions did not match," Vyas was quoted as saying by news agency PTI. He also said that some anti-social elements were spreading fake news about the paper leak, and FIRs would be registered against such elements under the Information Technology Act.
The DEO added that the Madhya Pradesh 10th Board Examinations began on Monday, and around and around 49,000 students are appearing for their board examinations at 137 centres in Indore. Among the total exam centres in the city, 21 centres have been declared sensitive and police personnel have been deployed at these centres, he added.
In a similar incident recently, West Bengal Board of Secondary Examinations president Ramanuj Ganguly, denied allegations of question paper leaks in the ongoing West Bengal 10th Board Exams 2024. Images of question papers of the Bengali and English papers were reportedly circulated on social media soon after the commencement of the exams.
Ganguly denied the allegations of question paper leak in the WB 10th Board Exams citing that the images of the question papers were circulated after the commencement of the exams. “Children are being used by some people to malign the state government and disrupt the examination process. We urge those behind this to desist from such self-destructive acts,” he was quoted as saying.
