IIT Madras' Consecutive Top Rank For 6th Year Highlights Commitment To Excellence: Director V Kamakoti

IIT Madras' top rank for the sixth year highlights its commitment to world-class talent and research, said Director V Kamakoti.

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras securing the top rank for the sixth consecutive year underscores the institute’s commitment to cultivating world-class talent and advancing impactful research, said its director V Kamakoti on Monday, as per PTI report.

The institute also maintains its position as the best engineering college for the ninth year running. "This continuous recognition is a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence in education and research, addressing both national and global challenges. We are honored by this acknowledgment and remain steadfast in our mission to serve the nation through innovation and education," Kamakoti told the news agency.

In the management category, IIM Ahmedabad has held its top position for the fifth consecutive year. "This recognition highlights our commitment to the highest standards in management education and research. It underscores the exceptional work of our faculty, influencing both business practices and public policy," said Bharat Bhasker, Director of IIM Ahmedabad.

IIT Delhi has been ranked as the second-best engineering institute in the country and continues to feature in the top ten management courses. "We are pleased with IIT Delhi's standing as a leading institution in Engineering, Management, and Research. This recognition reflects the high-quality education and research that address significant industrial and societal issues," stated Vivek Buwa, Dean of Planning and Head of the Ranking Cell.

IIT Mandi achieved eighth place in the "Innovation" category. "We are excited about our ranking in Innovation, which reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship among our students and faculty. We strive to push the boundaries of technological advancements and contribute to the nation's innovation landscape," remarked Kumar Sambhav Pandey, Registrar of IIT Mandi.

IIT Guwahati has secured positions in the top ten across three categories: overall, engineering, and research. "Maintaining our rankings in these categories is a significant achievement that reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire IIT Guwahati community. This consistency underscores our commitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation," said Devendra Jalihal, Director of IIT Guwahati.
