GATE 2024 Registration Likely To Begin Today On gate2024.iisc.ac.in

GATE 2024 application form will be available on the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

GATE 2024 Registration: The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will start the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 today, August 30. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill the GATE 2024 application form on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The closing date for GATE exam 2024 registration is September 29. Additionally, aspirants have the option to register with a late fee until October 13. GATE 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The test will be held in two shifts and the duration of exam will be three hours.

According to the eligibility criteria for GATE 2024, candidates who are presently in the third or final year of an undergraduate degree program or have successfully completed a government-approved degree program in the fields of engineering, technology, science, architecture, or humanities are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Candidates can fill the GATE online application form by following these steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website - gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link to apply for GATE 2024.

Step 3: Register online and fill in the application form.

Step 4: Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee online.

Step 5: Submit the application form.

Step 6: Download the application confirmation page for reference.

GATE 2024 Registration: Documents Required

Applicants will need the following documents to complete the form:

  • A high-quality photograph of the candidate.
  • A high-quality image of the candidate's signature.
  • Scanned copy of the category certificate (SC, ST) in PDF format if applicable.
  • Scanned copy of the PwD (Persons with Disabilities) Certificate in PDF format if applicable.
  • Scanned copy of the Dyslexia Certificate in PDF format if applicable.
  • Scanned copy of a valid photo identity document: Aadhar-UID (preferred), passport, PAN card, voter ID, or driving license.
