EPFO Recruitment 2019: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has released a notification for EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019 on its official website – epfindia.gov.in. A total of 280 vacancies for the post of Assistant have been notified by the organization, which includes 28 vacancies reserved for EWS quota besides other reservation categories. The online application process for the same is scheduled to be held between 30th May 2019 and 25th June 2019. Important Dates: Start date of online registration – 30th May 2019 Last date of online registration - 25 June 2019 Start date to download call letters – 20th July 2019 Last date to download call letters – 30th July 2019 Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) – 30th and 31st July 2019 Main Examination – Schedule to be shared via Call Letters Vacancy Details: General – 113 posts OBC NCL – 76 posts EWS – 28 posts SC – 42 posts ST – 21 posts Total number of Assistant (Pay Level-7) posts – 280 Posts Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent as on 25th June 2019. Age Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 20 to 27 Years as on last date of online registration process i.e. 25th June 2019. Step 1 – Visit the official website – epfindia.gov.in Step 2 – On the home page, under ‘Miscellaneous’ section, click on the tab ‘Recruitments’ Step 3 – Click on ‘Apply’ link adjacent to the “Recruitment of Assistants in EPO” Step 4 – Fill the application form, pay the fee and submit the details Step 5 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference Application Fee:         SC/ST/PWD/ departmental candidates, female candidates and economically weaker section (EWS) - Rs. 250/- All other categories – Rs. 500/- Selection Process: Final selection of candidate will be done on the basis of marks obtained in phase - II of the recruitment process i.e. the Main examination. Phase –I exam is only qualifying in nature and marks secured in phase – I will not be considered for preparing final merit list. Pay Scale: Candidates selected for the post of Assistant will be entitle to Entry Pay of Rs. 44,900/ as per the Pay Level- 7 (Civilian employees) under 7th Pay Commission plus other admissible benefits.
