DU Admissions 2023: DU Launches Admission Portal, Announces Eligibility Criteria For UG Admissions 2023-24

The University of Delhi has announced that admissions into its UG courses including the BFA program at the College of Art, for the 2023-24 session, will be done on the basis of CUET UG 2023 scores.

The University of Delhi launched the DU Admission 2023 Admission portal on Monday, February 12, 2023. All the upcoming events and updates pertaining to Delhi University Admissions 2023 will be hosted on the revamped DU Admission Portal. For all the DU Admissions 2023 updates, candidates are advised to visit the DU Admissions Portal 2023 - admission.uod.ac.in.

Besides the 2023 Admissions portal, the university on Monday, February 13, also released the eligibility criteria for DU UG Admissions 2023. Moreover, the esteemed central university announced that candidates seeking to enrol in UG courses at the varsity for the academic year 2023-24 must appear for the CUET UG 2023 Exam. Notably, the university of Delhi agreed to consider CUET scores for admission into UG courses last year. 

The University of Delhi issued a press release on Monday, February 12, announcing the DU UG Admission Process 2023 for 2023-24 academic session. “In order to seek admission to the Undergraduate programs of the University of Delhi for the academic year 2023-24, the candidates must appear in CUET (UG) 2023,” read the official notice. The official notice further stated that admissions into the Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) program in the College of Art for 2023 will be done on the basis of CUET UG 2023 scores as well.

Moreover, the university also advised students to keep a tap on the information bulletin of the university and the respective colleges that wish to take admission into for more admission related details. Interestingly, the University of Delhi has quite actively spread awareness around  the CUET UG 2023 Exam. ““Infographics in the form of illustrative examples have been uploaded on the DU admission official website to help candidates choose their test papers as per the requirements of the program-specific eligibility,” the press release stated. 

The University of Delhi has also launched its admission website for the Academic Year 2023-24 (admission.uod.ac.in). The Bulletin of Information for undergraduate programs gives detailed guidelines, Seat Matrix, Program-specific eligibilities of various Domain Specific subjects of CUET (UG) 2023 as per the requirements of various programs have been given in the Bulletin of Information (UG) 2023,” the notice added further. 

In addition, the Delhi University also notified that its Admission Branch will be holding webinars to help candidates gear up for the CUET UG 2023 Exam. The first such webinar will be February 17, 2023, at 03:00 PM.
