DU Admission 2021: The admission process at Delhi University is likely to start soon. As per the latest update, it is expected that the Delhi University admission process for the academic year 2021-22 will start in the last week of July or the first week of August 2021.

DU ready to announce admission dates and process:

According to the report published in TOI, DU Vice-Chancellor PC Joshi has informed that the university is ready to announce the admission dates and process for this year. DU is awaiting a decision on the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), which will be conducted by the University Grants Commission. DU is waiting for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare the class 12 results, and it is expected that CBSE will declare the class 12 result by July 31.

Alert on PG and Ph.D. courses Admission dates will be announced:

According to the report, DU will also announce the admission dates and process for admission to postgraduate and Ph.D. courses next week. The university will be able to conduct its entrance exam for DUET and CUCET as per the guidelines of UGC. DU will have to consider this before announcing the dates.

DU will go with as per the decision of UGC:

According to the report, the Vice-Chancellor has said that if UGC decides to conduct CUCET, DU will support the decision. However, if UGC decides not to conduct CUCET, DU will follow its merit-based format for admission. Apart from this, some other decisions will be taken and announced after the decision of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
