Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Cancelled: Following the CBSE decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021, various state boards have also decided to cancel the class 12 board examinations.
Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Cancelled: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has canceled the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021 in view of the covid-19 pandemic. The decision was taken after a high-level review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the prospects of the class 12 board examination was held on Tuesday evening.
"Government of India has decided to cancel the Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth," PM Modi tweeted after the meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the anxiety amongst students, parents, and teachers regarding the class 12 board examination must be put to an end.
PM Modi has also directed the CBSE to come up with an objective criterion based on which the students of CBSE class 12 boards will be evaluated.
Following the CBSE decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021, various state boards have also decided to cancel the class 12 board examinations.

West Bengal: The West Bengal government on Monday decided to cancel the West Bengal Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. Odisha: The Odisha government on Friday decided to cancel the class 12 board examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in view of the covid-19 pandemic. While making the announcement of the cancellation of the CHSE Odisha class 12 board examination, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that the safety of students and teachers is more important compare to the examinations. Karnataka: Karnataka Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar on Friday announced the cancellation of the Karnataka class 12 or 2nd PUC exams 2021 in view of the covid-19 pandemic. The Education Minister has said that the Karnataka SSLC examination will be conducted in the 3rd week of July 2021. He also informed that only two examinations will be held, one of the language and the other will be the MCQs on science, math, and social sciences. Read more
Maharashtra: In view of the covid-19 pandemic, the Maharashtra government on Thursday announced the cancellation of the Maharashtra Board HSC or class 12 board examination 2021. It is expected that the students of the Maharashtra Board class 12 will be evaluated on the basis of the results of class 11th and pre boards examinations conducted by the respective schools. Goa: The Goa government on Wednesday announced that the Class 12 examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has been canceled in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. "After extensive consultations, it has been decided that the Class 12 Exams shall be cancelled as the health and safety of our students is of utmost priority," Chief Minister Pramod Sawant tweeted. CISCE: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Tuesday canceled the ISC board exams for Class 12 students soon after the Central government announced the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 board exams. Speaking about the same, Dr. G Immanuel, Chairman, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to news agency ANI that Indian School Certificate (ISC) Board examinations (Class 12) have been canceled, but the final decision on compiling results is yet to be taken.
