CBSE CTET 2021 Registration Extended Till October 25, Exam From December 16

CBSE CTET 2021: CBSE has extended the last date to submit the online application for CTET 2021 till October 25.

CBSE CTET 2021 Application Date Extended: CBSE has extended the last date for applying for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 examination. As per the official notification, the last date for application submission has been moved to October 25. Candidates who have not yet applied for CTET 2021 have another chance to visit the official website and apply. Earlier, the last date for filling the application form for CTET 2021 was October 19, 2021. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is scheduled to be conducted from December 16 to January 13. Candidates can pay the application fee for CTET 2021 till October 26. One more examination city has been created at Leh for the convenience of aspirants.

Corrections allowed from Oct 28 to Nov 2:

Candidates who have already applied for CTET December 2021 but wish to make corrections to their particulars in the online application form or change their city can do so from October 28 to November 2. No correction will be allowed under any circumstances after this date.

CTET Paper-1 for recruitment of teachers for Class 1 to 5:

CTET Paper 1 will be conducted for candidates who will teach students from classes 1 to 5. Candidates will be asked questions from Language I and II, Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The exam follows the MCQ (Multiple-choice questions) pattern and will be conducted for 150 marks. Candidates are advised to check the information bulletin issued on the official website before applying for the exam.

 CTET Paper-2 for recruitment of teachers for Class 6  to 8:

CTET Paper 2 will be conducted for candidates who will teach students from classes 6 to 8. This paper will also carry 150 marks and will have 150 MCQs. Candidates will have questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies and Language I and II.

CBSE CTET How to Apply for 2021

  • Step 1: Visit the official website ctet.nic.in
  • Step 2: On the homepage, click "Apply for CTET December 2021".
  • Step 3: Click on the new registration link. Register yourself and proceed with the application process.
  • Step 4: Pay exam fees, upload and submit necessary documents
  • Step 5: Take a printout for future reference.

Change in the exam pattern

As per the notice, graduate applicants with a minimum 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed can also apply for CTET December 2021. This year, the board has also changed the exam pattern and the question papers will be developed to assess less factual knowledge and more conceptual understanding, application, problem-solving, reasoning, and critical thinking. CBSE further notified that the next CTET examination will be conducted during December 2021/January 2022 in online mode. Furthermore, the Board will set up facilitation centres in districts, where candidates will be provided (free of cost) the facility to attempt online mock tests.
