BSSC Recruitment 2019: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission is inviting applications for the post of Stenographer. BSSC has notified a total of 326 vacancies for the post of Stenographer for which the online application process is scheduled to begin from 7^th March 2019. The last date for the submission of online applications is 30^th March 2019. Interested candidates can apply online at bssh.bih.nic.in and the last date for payment of fee via the online payment gateway i.e. through debit card/ credit card/ net banking is 5^th April 2019. Vacancy Details: Unreserved/ general – 140 SC – 60 ST – 04 BC - 43 OBC – 70 Female of BC category - 09 Total no. of posts – 326 Important Dates: Online application submission begins – 7^th March 2019 Online application submission ends – 30^th March 2019 Last date for payment of fees – 5^th April 2019 Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must have passed Intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board. Official Advertisement for BSSC Recruitment 2019 Age-Limit: The applicant must be above the age of 18 years and must not exceed: 37 years – General (male) 40 years – General (female)/ OBC/ BC 42 years – SC/ST Selection Process: For the selection of candidates, BSSC will conduct a Written examination which will include questions on General Studies, General knowledge and Reasoning, followed by a Personal Interview. The minimum qualifying marks for the written examination are: 40% - General 36.5% - BC 34% - OBC 32% - SC/ST/Female Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.5,200 – 20,200 and grade pay of Rs. 2400/- Application Fee: The application fee for candidates is Rs. 600 and the application fee for SC/ST Candidates of Bihar and PWD candidates is Rs. 150, to be paid in the online mode through Debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
