The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started inviting applications for the BPSC TRE (Teachers Recruitment Exam 2023) Phase-2. Interested candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive and appear for the exam can submit their BPSC TRE Phase-2 Applications on the official website - bpsc.bih.bih.nic.in. Notably, in the second phase of the Bihar Teachers Recruitment 2023, the BPSC is inviting applications for 69,706 vacancies for teachers of Classes 6 to 12.

Interested candidates may note that the last date to apply for the BPSC TRE Phase-2 Recruitment 2023 is November 14, 2023. However, those who miss out on applying for the recruitment within the said timeline would still be able to submit their application for the recruitment till November 17, 2023, with a late fine. The BPSC TRE Phase-2 Application Fee 2023 is Rs 750. However, the application fee for SC, ST and PwD category candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 200.

Among the total 69,706 to be filled through the BPSC TRE Phase-2 2023, the BPSC aims to induct 3,436 teachers for English, 3,423 for Hindi, and 2,320 for Science subjects for Classes 9 and 10. Furthermore, the commission also aims to induct 2,704 teachers for non-rashtriya bhasha (NRB) subjects, 1,971 in English and 1,919 teachers for Physics.

To apply for the Bihar Teachers recruitment 2023 for Classes 6 to 8, candidates must have cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II or the Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) Paper-II. Those applying for teachers for Class 9 20 12 should have cleared the BTET Paper-II. Moreover, all applicants should have completed their Bachelor’s degree, as well as B.Ed degree from a recognised university.
