The Assam Public Service Commission has released a notification inviting applications from permanent residents of Assam to fill 65 Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts on its official website – apsc.nic.in. The selected candidates will be placed under the Water Resource Department, Assam. Assam PSC Recruitment 2019 Important Dates: Submission of application process begins – 2nd January 2019 Submission of application process ends – 2nd February 2019 Vacancy Details: Assistant Engineer – 65 posts Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: The applicant must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government, recognized by A.I.C.T.E. Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 38 years as on 1st January 2018. Age-relaxation rules apply as per government norms as stated in the official advertisement given below. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Screening Test, Written Examination Test and Interview. Pay Scale: The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.30,000 to Rs.1,10,000/- per month with grade pay of Rs.12,700/- Official Advertisement for Assam PSC Recruitment 2019: http://apsc.nic.in/Advt_13_2018_dtd_21Dec_2018.pdf Application Fee: The applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- via Treasury Challan in the Head Account “NON TAX REVENUE, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC” mentioning the name of post and department. For SC/ST/OBC/MOBC applicants, the application fee is Rs. 150/-
