Udupi, Dakshin Kannada Have Highest Pass Percentage
Among all the districts in the state, the highest pass percentage has been registered at Udupi and Dakshin Kannada districts. In each of the districts, 90.71% of total students have passed this year.
Girls Outscore Boys
A total of 5,56,267 students had appeared for the 2nd PUC exam this year of which 3,84,947 students have passed. Of the total number of girl students, 68.73% have passed while the pass percentage of boys is 54.73% .
This year the pass percentage is higher than that registered last year. It was 61.73 percent in 2019 but it has been declared to be 69.20%.
2nd PUC Result 2020: How to check
Students who have appeared for the Karnataka PUC exam can check their result by following these simple steps given below.
- Visit the official site link at karresults.nic.in.
- On the home page click on ‘Karnataka 2nd PUC result’ link.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the details.
- Click on submit.
- Your result will be available on the screen.
- Download the result and keep a hard copy for further need.
After the declaration of the Karnataka 2nd PUC result, students can also apply for the revaluation of their exam results. Details regarding this will be announced by the Board on its official website.
The Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar announced on Monday that the students who appeared for all the papers in the First PU Examination but had failed in some subjects will be given general promotion.
“Our state is the first in south India to announce the PUC result. The results of 6.75 lakh students will be announced on Tuesday,” the minister said.
He said the supplementary examination has been cancelled.
