'Cut, Commission, Corruption': BJP Launches '3C' Attack On AAP After Sisodia, Jain Resignation
BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that he believed that cut and commission was the legacy of only one political party without naming any parties.
New Delhi: The BJP said on Tuesday that AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, should have resigned from the Cabinet much earlier when the allegations of graft against them came to light and added that the AAP was a party of "cut, commission, and corruption".
Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and his cabinet colleague Satyendar Jain on Tuesday resigned from their posts in the state cabinet. CM Arvind Kejriwal accepted their resignation.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, a senior leader of the BJP, lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Kejriwal, the party's national convener, saying that those who claimed to be the "flag bearers of the fight against corruption" have ensured governance that "increases the number of alcohol users in Delhi."

Prasad stated that he believed that cut and commission was the legacy of only one political party without naming any parties.
Prasad stated, "But today, I must say that 3C-cut, commission and corruption also applies for Kejriwal's party," adding that AAP leaders have denigrated Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement.
"They should have resigned earlier. Jain has resigned several months after his arrest and Sisodia should have resigned at the time when the allegations against them came out," the former law minister said while addressing a press conference.
Prasad stated that the BJP would raise the liquor scam case in Delhi as a "fixed text book case of corruption" throughout the country.
He stated that the Supreme Court "granted no indulgence to one of the most prominent faces of the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare" on Tuesday. Prasad stated, "This clearly indicates the merit of Sisodia's plea that the supreme court refused to grant any relief."
Sisodia, who is currently being held by the CBI in connection with the excise policy case, was denied bail on Tuesday.
According to the leader of the BJP, Sisodia is possibly the only education minister in the nation who is also a "liquor minister."
Regarding Kejriwal, Prasad stated that during the Gujarat elections, he claimed the Intelligence Bureau was reporting a significant victory for the AAP, and on Monday, he claimed the CBI was opposed to Sisodia's arrest.
He stated, "I am amazed at the number of lies spewed by Kejriwal for the commission from liquor."
Meanwhile, BJP National Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has also reacted saying, "Satyendra Jain & Manish Sisodia resignations taken only when no resort was left. Today the AAP has no moral locus standii left. It was a decision of majboori. A decision that is too little too late - a decision to cut losses when the jaanch ki aanch is coming to CM Kejriwal."

Manoj Tiwari, a BJP MP, tweeted about the Supreme Court's refusal to hear Sisodia's request for bail and the quashing of the FIR in the excise policy case.
“The AAP’s slumber broken following strong reprimand by the Supreme Court… Finally, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain had to resign .. Kejriwal ji, on moral grounds, your resignation is also warranted.”

BJP leader Amit Malviya said, "Satyendra Jain has been in jail for almost nine months now. With Sisodia also in jail, Kejriwal would have had to hold the next cabinet meeting in Tihar. Perhaps embarrassed by the prospect, and left with no option, Kejriwal finally accept their resignation. Too little too late.."

Too little too late.
The CBI detained Sisodia for alleged corruption in the development and implementation of the scrapped liquor policy for the national capital for 2021–22.
The Enforcement Directorate detained Satyendar Jain in May of last year for his alleged involvement in a money laundering case.
According to ANI, the Portfolios of Manish Sisodia are likely to be given to Delhi cabinet ministers Kailash Gahlot & Raaj Kumar Anand. No new minister will be sworn in as of now.
For alleged acts of corruption in the implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy, the CBI and ED have recently made several arrests.
