Man Shoots At Colleague In Gurugram After Spat Over Office Chair, Police Probe On
Vishal and Aman Jangra had an argument over an office chair after which Vishal moved out of the office. According to Vishal, Aman came from behind, took out a pistol and shot at him.
New Delhi: An employee at a private financial firm was shot at by his colleague near the Ramada Hotel in Gurugram after an argument over an office chair, said the police on Thursday, reported news agency PTI. As per the report, the victim was critically injured and was receiving treatment at a private hospital in the city, the police said, adding that an FIR was lodged against the accused, Aman Jangra, a native of Hisar in Haryana.
The victim has been identified as Vishal, 23, who is a resident of Firoz Gandhi Colony in Gurugram’s Sector 9.
As per the victim’s statement, Vishal said he had an argument with Aman regarding a chair in the office on Tuesday. The duo again had an argument the next day as well over the same issue after which Vishal walked out of the office, the police said, as per the report.
Vishal alleged that while walking on the road, Aman came from behind, took out a pistol and shot at him before escaping from the spot, they added.
After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and rushed Vishal to the hospital. Vishal’s family members were also informed about the incident and a case was registered based on the complaint by the victim’s brother.

According to the police, the case was registered under sections 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25-54-59 of the Arms Act.
"The accused has been identified and we are conducting raids to nab him. He will be arrested soon," Virender Vij, Deputy Commissioner of Police, East was quoted as saying.
