Light Rain Expected In Delhi As Clouds Cover National Capital
The IMD said that Delhi is likely to witness cloudy skies and light rain on Republic Day as well.
New Delhi: The national capital is likely to witness light rain and pleasant weather conditions as clouds cover the town on Tuesday morning The India Meteorological Department has predicted light rain during the day.

Delhi's primary weather station, the Safdarjung Observatory, recorded a minimum temperature of 12.3 degrees Celsius, around five notches above normal and the highest this month so far.
The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 24 degrees Celsius, the report added.
The city recorded a maximum temperature of 25.9 degrees Celsius on Monday, the highest in the month in four years, PTI mentioned citing India Meteorological Department data.
It said that light rainfall is predicted over Delhi during the day and the subsequent two days under the influence of an intense western disturbance affecting northwest India.
Earlier on Sunday, the IMD predicted that several parts of North India, including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, are expected to receive light isolated rainfall for the upcoming week.
Parts Of Punjab And Haryana Received Light Rainfall
Parts of Punjab and Haryana received light rain on Tuesday as the two states continue to witness cold weather conditions at many places, reported news agency PTI.
The Met centre here said that light rain occurred in parts of the two states, including the common capital Chandigarh.
Punjab's Bathinda continues to battle the severe cold as it recorded a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. Chandigarh recorded a low of 9.4 degrees Celsius.
According to PTI, Gurdaspur recorded a minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, Barnala 6.4 degrees, Faridkot 6.9 degrees, Amritsar 6.2 degrees, Ludhiana 7.4 degrees and Patiala 9.3 degrees.
In Haryana, Sirsa was the coldest place, recording a low of 5.5 degrees Celsius.
The night temperature in Hisar was recorded at 8.8 degrees Celsius, Karnal 9.6 degrees, Rohtak 10.4 degrees and Bhiwani 9.1 degrees.
