Kejriwal Suffering From 'Political Cataract': BJP After Delhi CM Calls Himself & Party 'Kattar Imandaar'

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the entire country knows Kejriwal is a "kattar beiman" (hardcore dishonest) after the Delhi CM referred to himself and his party as "hardcore honest."

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Saturday that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was suffering from a "political cataract" and was awarding himself a certificate of honesty despite his government's alleged excise and classroom building frauds.

According to BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, the entire country now knows Kejriwal is a "kattar beiman" (hardcore dishonest). With the name of his deputy, Manish Sisodia, not appearing in the CBI charge sheet in the excise policy case, Kejriwal stated on Saturday that he and the AAP are "hardcore honest."

"Kejriwal is suffering from a political cataract. The classroom scam or the excise scam or Satyendar Jain retaining his ministerial post despite being in jail is no big deal," Bhatia added.

He stated that the investigating agencies, which were once dubbed "caged parrots," are now free and independent to decide how to proceed in situations of wrongdoing. On Friday, the CBI filed its first charge sheet in the Delhi excise policy case against seven suspects, although Sisodia, who was listed in the FIR, was not among them.

Earlier in the day, Delhi CM held a press conference and referred to himself and his party as "kattar imandaar" (hardcore honest), challenging the BJP to do the same.

"Today I can say, Arvind Kejriwal is hardcore honest, AAP is hardcore honest. I challenge BJP to tell if any of its party leaders are hardcore honest," Delhi CM said.

When asked about the BJP's release of sting videos on AAP politicians ahead of the December 4 municipal elections in Delhi, the chief minister said voters must pick between 10 BJP videos and 10 promises from his party.

Earlier this month, the Aam Aadmi Party unveiled ten promises for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections, including the removal of three dump sites in the city and the abolition of the stray animal menace.
