Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Vikaspuri Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Vikaspuri Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of six wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the six wards of the Vikaspuri assembly constituency are Vikas Puri, Hastsal, Vikas Nagar, Kunwar Singh Nagar, Baprola, and Sainik Enclave.

1. Vikas Puri: In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, Vikas Puri is ward number one hundred-and-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 74,846. The Vikas Puri (Ward 107) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. Hastsal: In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, Hastsal is ward number one hundred-and-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 68,864. The Hastsal (Ward 108) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Vikas Nagar: In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, Vikas Nagar is ward number one hundred-and-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 51,864. The Vikas Nagar (Ward 109) MCD seat is unreserved.

4. Kunwar Singh Nagar: In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, Kunwar Singh Nagar is ward number one hundred-and-ten in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 55,270. The Kunwar Singh Nagar (Ward 110) MCD seat is reserved for women.

5. Baprola: In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, Baprola is ward number one hundred-and-eleven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,328. The Baprola (Ward 111) MCD seat is unreserved.

6. Sainik Enclave: In the Vikaspuri Delhi assembly constituency, Sainik Enclave is ward number one hundred-and-twelve in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 88,571. The Sainik Enclave (Ward 112) MCD seat is reserved for women.
