Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Seema Puri Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Seema Puri Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Seema Puri  Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Seema Puri assembly constituency are Sundar Nagri, Dilshad Garden, and Nand Nagri.

1. Sundar Nagri: In the Seema Puri Delhi assembly constituency, Sundar Nagri is ward number two hundred- eighteen in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 83,935. The Sundar Nagri (Ward 218) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste women.

2. Dilshad Garden: In the Seema Puri Delhi assembly constituency, Dilshad Garden is ward number two hundred- nineteen in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 79,248. The Dilshad Garden (Ward 219) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Nand Nagri: In the Seema Puri Delhi assembly constituency, Nand Nagri is ward number two hundred-twenty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 73,753. The Nand Nagri (Ward 220) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste.
