Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Malviya Nagar Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Malviya Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Malviya Nagar assembly constituency are Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, and Green Park.

1. Hauz Khas: In the Malviya Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Hauz Khas is ward number one hundred-and-forty-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 45,509. The Hauz Khas (Ward 148) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. Malviya Nagar: In the Malviya Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Malviya Nagar is ward number one hundred-and-forty-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 62,475. The Malviya Nagar (Ward 149) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Green Park: In the Malviya Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Green Park is ward number one-hundred-and-fifty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 49,705. The Green Park (Ward 150) MCD seat is unreserved.
