Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Bawana Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Bawana Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of six wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the six wards of the Bawana assembly constituency are Pooth Kalan, Begumpur, Shahbaad Dairy, Pooth Khurd, Bawana and Nangal Thakran.

1. Pooth Kalan: In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, Pooth Kalan is ward number twenty-six in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 70,203. The Pooth Kalan (Ward 26) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Begumpur: In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, Begumpur is ward number twenty-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 78,987. The Begumpur (Ward 27) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Shahbaad Dairy: In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, Shahbaad Dairy is ward number twenty-eight in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,537. The Shahbaad Dairy (Ward 28) MCD seat is reserved for Scheduled Caste.

4. Pooth Khurd: In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, Pooth Khurd is ward number twenty-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 57,630. The Pooth Khurd (Ward 29) MCD seat is reserved for women.

5. Bawana: In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, Bawana is ward number thirty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 64,013. The Bawana (Ward 30) MCD seat is unreserved.

6. Nangal Thakran: In the Bawana Delhi assembly constituency, Nangal Thakran is ward number thirty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 57,612. The Nangal Thakran (Ward 31) MCD seat is reserved for women.
