Delhi: After A Cloudy Tuesday, IMD Predicts Light Rain On Wednesday

Due to calmer winds, a layer of hazy haze enveloped Delhi on Tuesday, with air quality deteriorating to the higher end of the "very poor" category.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday forecasted light rain or drizzle on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the high and low temperatures are expected to be about 30 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.

According to meteorological statistics, the city's maximum temperature on Monday was 33 degrees Celsius, the highest for the month of November since 2008.

Due to calmer winds, Delhi's air quality on Tuesday worsened to the upper end of the "very poor" category, shrouding the city in a veil of thick haze.

Due to unfavourable meteorological conditions, it is predicted that the air quality may deteriorate during the following two days.

The India Meteorological Department said that the day's minimum temperature had reached 17.2 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees more than the season's normal.
