In another recent incident, a Fire broke out in a DCM building in Connaught Place in Delhi on July 15, news agency ANI reported. As per the initial reports, a firefighting operation was carried out after a fire broke out on the 9th floor of the DCM building in Connaught Place. 10 fire engines are present on the spot.
On July 13, a massive fire broke out at a shopping complex in Greater Noida near Gaur City 1. Visuals from the site showed two people jumping from the third floor of Galaxy Plaza in Greater Noida West to save their lives as smoke billowed from the building.
Earlier this month, a massive fire broke out at a showroom in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi, killing four people including a woman. The fire engulfed a three-storey electronics showroom and a sports store located in the Sipri Bazar area, PTI reported.

On Wednesday, around 20 vehicles were damaged in a massive blaze at a car service centre in Delhi's Mayapuri area, PTI reported. There were no reports of any injuries.
Officials said the fire broke out on the first floor of the showroom and 19 fire tenders were pressed into action.
Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg said a call about the fire was received at 7.25 am. The fire was doused off within an hour.
