100 FIRs Lodged, 6 Held Over ‘Objectionable’ Posters Against PM Modi In Delhi
Special CP Deependra Pathak said that a van was intercepted as soon as it left the Aam Aadmi Party office from which a few posters were seized and arrests were made.
New Delhi: Six persons have been arrested while 100 FIRs have been registered for objectionable posters including that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi across the city, Special Commissioner of Police Deependra Pathak told news agency ANI.
The posters did not have details of the printing press, he said, adding FIRs have been filed under sections of Printing Press Act and Defacement of Property Act.
The official also said that a van was intercepted as soon as it left the Aam Aadmi Party office from which a few posters were seized and arrests were made.
