UP Man Rapes 3-Year-Old, Arrested After Encounter In Ghazipur
A man who raped a three-year-old child who was arrested after an encounter with the police.

Following an encounter, a man accused of raping a three-year-old child was arrested in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. The accused, Kundan Kashyap is a resident of Indira Nagar in Lucknow district.
Kashyap had lured an acquaintance's child, on Monday morning. After her family found out about the rape they filed an FIR at Ghazipur police station.
When the police decided to arrest him, an encounter occurred between him and the police on Bandha Road in the Ghazipur police station area. During this, he was shot in the leg, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North Krishna Gopal Chaudhary.
In an incident, the police in Bareilly district took a man into custody for allegedly trying to rape a 16-year-old girl in the Sirauli police station. According to a PTI report, The family members caught the accused after the girl raised an alarm and handed him over to the police after a thrashing.
Sirauli police station Station House Officer (SHO) Prayagraj Singh said that based on a complaint lodged by the family members, a case has been registered against the accused. On Sunday, while giving water to a buffalo at her house in Sirauli town, the accused entered the house and tried to rape her.
When the girl raised an alarm, the accused gagged her and threw her to the ground. Hearing the commotion, the family members rushed to the scene, thrashed the accused, and handed him over to the cops.
Meanwhile, in Muzaffarnagar, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men in a cafe on Monday. The girl's family lodged a complaint against the accused – Vishal, his friend Ankit and cafe owner Akshay Sharma – and the three were arrested, Circle Officer Rupali Rao.
The family alleged that the girl, a Class 10 student, was called to the cafe and then raped by Vishal and Ankit.
A case was registered against the accused under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
