14-Year-Old Student Stabbed To Death By Schoolmates Following Heated Altercation In Delhi
The incident occurred after the 14-year-old and other students had an argument following which a few students stabbed the victim outside the school.
Following an altercation between students, one was allegedly fatally stabbed outside a school in east Delhi's Shakarpur area.
According to a PTI report, the incident occurred on Friday, after the victim, Ishu Gupta, had an argument with some other students. This altercation escalated when one of the students, along with three-four accomplices, targeted the victim outside the school gate.
"A 14-year-old student, Ishu Gupta, was killed in a stabbing incident outside the Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya No 2 in Shakarpur, Delhi, on January 3. The incident occurred during the dispersal of students after extra classes," the official statement read as per ANI.
“One assailant stabbed the victim in his right thigh, causing a fatal injury," a police officer told PTI. The victim's body has been preserved for post-mortem.
The suspects were apprehended by teams from the Shakarpur police station, along with squads from the Anti-Narcotics Squad and the Special Staff who were sent to the spot.
Seven culprits have been detained so far, and the motive behind the crime and their roles are being investigated by the police.

Last month, a Class 10 boy was stabbed to death in a market in Faridabad days after he had an argument with some men in Faridabad. The victim identified as Anshul was stabbed 14 times. Anshul’s family accused the police of inaction and laughing off the matter when they complained about Anshul receiving death threats on Instagram, the family staged a protest.
The victim's sister, Anjali, said that he had an argument with some men. A few days later the accused attacked him with sticks and knives when he had gone to a market. Anjali along with some locals rushed to help Anshul and took him to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next day.
Based on Anjali's complaint, an FIR was registered and 10 people were apprehended.
