YouTuber Manish Kashyap Beaten Up By Junior Doctors At PMCH In Patna, FIR Registered

The incident unfolded after Kashyap arrived at PMCH to speak to the hospital authorities on behalf of a patient. A verbal altercation broke out between him and some junior doctors, which quickly escalated.

BJP leader and YouTuber Manish Kashyap was allegedly assaulted at the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Monday afternoon and was held hostage, leading to chaos and panic at the hospital. 

The incident unfolded after Kashyap arrived at PMCH to speak to the hospital authorities on behalf of a patient. A verbal altercation broke out between him and some junior doctors, which quickly escalated. 

A fight also broke out between the Manish Kashyap and the junior doctors at the PMCH. Hospital staff alleged that Kashyap misbehaved with the doctors, prompting junior doctors to retaliate.

Eyewitnesses said that the situation escalated following the scuffled and Kashyap was allegedly held for three hours within the hospital before bystanders intervened to defuse the confrontation. 

The incident triggered chaos at the hospital but was brought under control after the Patna Police arrived at the scene.

However, Manish Kashyap have strongly denied the allegations of misconduct. He denied any instance of misbehaviour with the hospital staff and accused the doctors of initiating the conflict without provocation. 

Meanwhile, both the parties have registered the case in the incident at the local police station. While Kashyap’s supporters maintained that he was attacked without cause, hospital staff denied any wrongdoing.

Manish Kashyap Known For Making Headlines With Controversies

Manish Kashyap, hailing from West Champaran's Muhnawa Dumari village, completed his graduation in civil engineering from Pune in 2016. Thereafter, he started his YouTube channel ‘Sach Tak News’ in 2018, which involved him questioning government officials on problems concerning the common man.

However, he was often caught up in controversies and has several cases lodged against him, for one of which he was arrested for allegedly making and sharing fake videos of Bihari migrants facing harassment in Tamil Nadu.

In 2019, Kashyap was arrested twice for allegedly damaging the statue of King Edward VII in Bettiah. He was subsequently arrested for allegedly thrashing a Kashmiri shopkeeper in Lhasa Market in Patna after the Pulwama attack.
